Customer Reviews for Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel Waupacacustomer rating 2.5 out of 5 Upon checking into the hotel, we were told that we would be given a room with a King bed (we had booked a room with a Queen and a sofa sleeper). I told her that would not work for our family of four. I was told that because the hotel was full, they could not offer another room. We printed a copy of our confirmation, and my husband again approached the hotel staff asking to sleep in the room we paid for. This time the staff agreed to move us. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The next morning we took our children to the indoor water park. We had to ask at the front desk to have the sprinklers/fountains turned on in the kiddie pool area (which the hotel staff did promptly). We asked repeatedly when the water slides would be open (this was the only reason we chose this hotel over others in town) as our son was extremely excited to use them. We were repeatedly told that a life guard would be there in 5-10 minutes. We swam for 90 minutes and the slides never opened. The staff at the hotel was friendly. We were not given the room we booked and the water slide was not open. customer rating 5 out of 5 I would/will stay here again. Kudos to the staff. Offer thinner pillows. Friendly atmosphere and the hotel staff was excellent! The pillows sucked. I usually bring my own but forgot. They gave me an extra night for the same price, and the free drink tickets were a nice plus. Need to enforce the age limit for the pool.
