Customer Reviews for Holiday Inn Harborview Port Washingtoncustomer rating 4.5 out of 5 Very beautiful view.Good location right next to lake Michigan and the restaurant staff was very polite and helpful.Only problem with the bar/restaurant not a lot to choose from on the menu but what they did offer was prepared perfectly. The restaurant staff were very helpful and polite. When I checked in I was greeted by the manager and welcomed. The smell in the hallway would linger into the room, and the door slamming until 3am kept me awake on the weekends. customer rating 4 out of 5 The hotel was clean and in a great location. The door to the swimming pool from the restaurant has rugs in front of it that get caught and I got hurt trying to enter. The worst was the Sunday morning buffet breakfast. There were no clean tables, only one girl to help. You had to beg for silverware and everyone that entered was confused as to where to sit. None of the tables had been cleared even long after people left. It was not a good experience. The food was so. The location was ideal. We were able to walk to all events restaurant and bars in town. The swimming pool door almost killed us it got caught on the rug. The breakfast was horrible. customer rating 1.5 out of 5 When we asked for a room for handicap accessibility, they told us they were all being used and they didn't want to ask anyone to move because they all were unpacked. the only handicap room that was left was one with maintenance issues.I asked if we could use the chair from that particular room and she said we would have to wait. not sure if all the guests that were in handicap rooms were actually handicapped. Very frustrating, my son is a paraplegic, they finally brought us a chair after a 2-3 hour wait. We have stayed at other hotels where they have given handicap rooms out to people that do not have disabilities and have moved them to accommodate us, this one seemed to think it was and inconvenience to ask their guest to move to accommodate us. as a matter of factI did not see any guests that were handicapped in the hotel during our stay. The pool. You have no place to request for handicap accessories when we asked for a handicap accessible room they told us they had filled them all.
