The hotel looks beautiful in the lobby, but that's where it stopped. Upon check in,they didn't have the room I book with price line, so it took 20 min to find us the same room, and then they waived the parking fee which is $18/day. Cheap hotel for the River walk, I got what I paid for. Hotel room smelt like cigarettes and is very small. The hotel could use a face lift. customer rating 3 out of 5
The staff was very friendly, but the hotel was extremely old and not in a charming way, in a very outdated way. The whole hotel smelled, especially in the room. The room needed a complete overhaul - there was dirty caked behind the door of the bathroom and everything looked like it was several decades old. The room had a glass door that opened up to the pool area, which was a neat idea, but didn't seem especially safe since it was only locked from the inside with a small lock and had no card key lock on the outside. The swimming pool area was fine, and the Tiki bar and fitness room were nice. They did over chlorinate the pool and it turned my son's t-shirt from black to brown. The self parking was expensive, especially for having it only outside and not covered. The proximity to the Riverwalk and Downtown. Swimming Pool, Tiki Bar and Fitness Center. Free Wi-Fi. Very old and smelly, the room had caked on debris, everything needs replacing, no fridge or microwave, and pool was over chlorinated. customer rating 4.5 out of 5 Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lack of towels, hot water, heat. Put in a queen when I reserved a king, but cleared up. 4 requests foe crib before delivered.
