Worn/dated. Had Do Not Disturb on door, but housekeeping came in anyway. First day they removed my newspaper that I had planned to read. Second day I walked in & the bed had not been professionally made, so I thought they had respected the request. Went into bathroom. They had indeed been in my room and had left bottle of cleaner on the vanity top. They came into room but did not make bed, did remove towels/washcloths & bathmat (did not have one the next morning). I took bottle of cleaner to desk and told her both days housekeeping entered my room even though DND sign hanging on handle. She told me I did not know how to properly use the sign, it should have been inserted into the card reader, not hung on the handle. My bad – not! All that aside, the place is bad. Super 8 in disguise. Worn carpet. odor. housekeeping disregards do not disturb. customer rating 2.5 out of 5 This hotel looks as though it was partially renovated. The renovation feels as though they put lipstick on an old lady though. It's clear that the hotel needs to be gutted and redone. First room smelled like smoke and had peeling wallpaper by air conditioner with mold. Second room had crusty stuff on floor by nightstand and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. The hotel is dirty and outdated. Great location though and the staff is excellent. Henry was excellent at customer service. Really great attitude and very helpful. Peeling wallpaper. Dirty rooms. Crusty stuff on floors near nightstand in jacuzzi room. Gross. customer rating 2 out of 5 Convenient to 249 hwy/tollway and few minutes from major road 1960 with plenty of restaurants. Front desk night staff guy was very nice and friendly. Room carpet was dirty stained, looked worn - Ethernet wre broken, entrance light not working no soap in room first night (front desk staff gave me).
