There were able to answer my questions and fetched pool towels for me when I asked even though they are normally stored at the pool. The cleaning staff was great. They made up our bed and bathroom without disturbing all the things we had left around the room having gone to amorning event in a hurry. I also liked that there were PLENTY of towels provided though they desperately needed fabric softener. I bring my own shampoo etc because I have particular needs so I can't say how they were. The location was within 10-15 mins drive of everything we needed on the island and texas a&m Galveston on pelican island. And its far enough away to avoid the island's night life. I loved having the fridge because we took our own adult beverages and could bring back restaurant leftovers which helped us save money. We Also Had No problems With The wifi. Nothing is missing from this hotel for its star level: ice, iron, hairdryer, a few pieces of exercise equipment, etc. Great deal. Would stay again We could see the ocean on our balcony! There was good parking on a lower level than the hotel so our vehicle was isolated yet easy to access by elevator. The room was nicely made up and very spacious for us as a couple. The fridge was a good dorm size. You can see the ocean but if you want sand instead of rocks you have to just park up seawall about 20-30 blocks. It was close to Moody Gardens. They did not clean our room even though we stayed two nights. They said we had the do not disturb sign out, but it was only on our door for 3 hours while my toddler was napping. We had to call them late at night to come do the bare minimum.
