Customer Reviews for The Magnolia Hotel Dallas Dallascustomer rating 3 out of 5 We originally booked a much cheaper room at another hotel, but we thought we had to cancel that to get a discounted rate at this hotel. We were in town for a wedding and the Bride had booked several rooms that we were to book at a discount. We discovered too late that we were no longer eligible for the discounted rate and paid full price,more than the room we would have had in the first place at the other hotel. While the Magnolia was a very lovely hotel in its own right, I probably won't stay here again myself unless I feel like going all out. It was beautiful, but due to problems getting to the room and late-night exhausting shenanigans, we weren't even in the room very long. Certainly not long enough to enjoy it for the price we paid! So, to summarize: if you are rich, this is a great place to stay; if you are not so rich, you can probably find something more affordable that will be decent. Beautiful design elements, very clean bedroom and bath. You could only valet park. The availability of breakfast, dinner, and milk and cookies was fantastic, especially with little ones. I didn't like that there wasn't any parking for hotel guest aside from valet.
