Traveling with a coworker for a conference, and she got a spider bite while in her sleep. I personally did not see insects or spiders in my room, but wouldn't be surprised after that incident. She had to go to the emergency room after we get back home. Her long weekend became a painful weekend visiting the doctor twice. We reported the incident to the front desk attendant but never heard from them or they didn't followed up on this incident. I think they could at least have called her ans asked how she was doing. I am disappointed with that. People were nice. Reported an incident, no one contacted us to follow up. customer rating 1 out of 5 I explained what happened to me to someone at the front desk and he failed to document my report. I've never had a staph infection in my life and after staying there, my elbow was swollen and red. I ended up saving a few bucks on the hotel, but I ended up paying the price at the ER, a tetanus shot, and 10 days of an antibiotic. I've stayed at many hotels, and I can guarantee that I won't be staying at one rated less than 4 stars from now on. I don't consider myself a high maintenance person, but if I were to run into a similar problem, I'd be picky about the sheets needing to smell like bleach. I doubt the sheets were clean.
