The location of the hotel was convenient even though it is not in a good neighborhood . Breakfast. customer rating 4 out of 5 Relatively new, great staff. I did not know it is OK to bring pet, it is kind of disgusting knowing that you sleep on a bed that might have been used by a dog. customer rating 1 out of 5 Lots of roaches in my room. I stayed for 2 nights and spotted the first roach first night - I called the front desk to let them know and all they said was that maintenance had already gone home so they could not do anything about it - that morning, I spotted tons of them on the walls, everywhere. I called front desk again and this time they moved me to another room. No refund or anything. I was on vacation with my little sister, so I did not want to make a big deal of it; however, I will never stay at a red roof again or recommend it to anyone. Good location- close to the beach. Lots of baby roaches in my room- trash from previous occupant was not emptied out.
