The carpet was stained and the bathroom door was poorly patched. Although the mattress appeared to have been new, the bed was so uncomfortable that I tossed and turned for hours before waking in the wee hours and not going back to sleep. I would have perhaps been the first quest to arrive for breakfast and was turned off because (1)the banana peels were black (no yellow on the peel could be seen) as they were so over ripe (2) their was a sign on the door that said "help yourself to juice and milk and the juice pitcher, although having been used previously, was empty. I was so turned off that I refused to have anything to eat as I didn't trust the situation. Staff was polite. The bed was so uncomfortable that I tossed and turned all night. customer rating 4 out of 5 The Jamerson Inn/Days Inn was an unexpected surprise for me. Perhaps it was because of the convenience to the historical sites the desk clerk so kindly recommended and the highway friendly location. This hotel was also a little tucked away from the maddening crowd of the malls which preferred after a few days. Yes, incidentally we opted to stay an additional day. Thank you-"Time Traveler". I loved how the staff at the Days Inn/Jamerson Inn, went out of their way to show me the local tourist activities. I was very impressed. The room smelt a little Smokey but I turned on the air and was able to breathe okay. customer rating 4 out of 5 Paid 36 plus tax. A little high for what it was but bed was comfortable, water was hot and TV was good. Come with reasonable expectations and you will be fine. Was only there for about 5 hours but met my expectations for a good price.
