Customer Reviews for State College - Days Inn University Inn/penn State State Collegecustomer rating 3 out of 5 Terrible front desk staff. housekeeping was very friendly, and efficient. also, don't need help with luggage. the maint guy who happened to be standing around talking with the front desk people actually asked "is this all, that he was curious why i needed help with my luggage." i guess he was union, and isn't worried about offending customers, and not doing his job; or any job for that matter. Good location. The front desk staff is very unfriendly.I asked for a bellman to help with luggage, but they don't have one. customer rating 3 out of 5 Hotel is dated and looks like it hasn't been updated in 20 years. If looking to walk to PSU and and downtown State College and limit driving, this is a great value spot. If expecting lots of creature comforts or new carpets/beds/decor then choose somewhere else. Good location for walking around Penn State. Rooms were small, older and needing refurbishment. customer rating 4.5 out of 5 This Days Inn has not updated the rooms in a while, but despite that, it is comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. Pool was nice and lobby inviting. TV was older and bedding was poor.
