Customer Reviews for Best Western Grand Victorian Inn Sayrecustomer rating 2 out of 5 I would not recommend this hotel because it is not worth the money we had to pay. There are only two hotels in that area and I guess we should have paid a little extra to stay at the Hampton instead. I called the day before arrival to make sure we would get a non-smoking room and when we arrived the room and hallway smelled of smoke. The heater made a terrible noise and it was hard to regulate the temperature in the room. They had a stand beside the bed with nothing on it (looked like it once housed a refrigerator and microwave) but it made getting out of bed especially in the dark, dangerous to get by without running into it. We arrived late and wanted to use the swimming pool but was informed by the front desk that it closed in 6 minutes so we never did get to use the pool because we were only staying one night. When we arrived for the complimentary continental breakfast, the hostess asked us for a pass in a not so friendly and inviting way that she said we should have received from the front desk at checkin - we were not given a pass. Food was okay but nothing impressive.
I do not feel this was a hotel worth the money we paid for one night and would recommend checking out the Hampton Inn and paying a little more to stay there instead of the Best Western. The room was clean. The first time I stayed their they messed up and gave our rooms away.
