I was at a beautiful hotel, practically on my child's college campus and the full price would have been way over my budget. customer rating 2.5 out of 5 Basic. Well located. Parking was under construction and inconvenient and expensive & the staff was rude about it. customer rating 1.5 out of 5 Location is great if visiting colleges nearby. Other wise, forget it! When checking in with my 16-year old daughter, they gave us a king bed without explanation. When I asked for 2 beds, there was a $20 upcharge. Come on. Most hotels that I've booked, make you beg for a king bed (when traveling with my wife) and I've never been charged for this kind of change. The guy at the desk was rude about my request and the charge. There was a $20 fee for parking the car a little high. The exercise facility was small, stuffy and stocked with 10 year old equipment that was falling apart. My daughter swims a lot; unfortunately, the pool was under construction or something made it inaccessible. The bathroom in the room was small and cramped. The one bright spot was that there were 7 pillows on the bed, but what would anyone do with 7 pillows? All in all, a bad experience. Close to 2 colleges that we were visiting. They don't care about their guests!
