Dirt on back of bathroom door, cleaning rag left on sink. Curtains in room too shear and bright light outside kept it too light at night so had trouble sleeping. Price was right. Not as clean and updated as should be. customer rating 0.5 out of 5 I was frankly shocked it was a Holiday inn . The first room the toilet seat literally broke off when the lid was lifted and then in that same room the tub drain was clogged with hair ( disgusting) I walked to the desk at that point and they immediately gave me another room . The rooms were dirty , appeared not to have been dusted in weeks and frankly made me think of some B rate motel . I usually stay in Marriotts or Carlton owned properties , but as other Holiday Inns I have recently stayed at that have gone into being a little more upscale, I expected the same . It was Appalling. It was. Not a nice place. The floor was dirty. Wiring exposed in the hallway , baseboards missing in some areas etc. customer rating 4 out of 5
I almost gave it a glowing review, until I made it into the bathroom, where the gfi plug was hanging out of the socket - pretty dangerous - but for my purposes, everything else was fine. I was able to overlook the build-up of dust in the corners. Even though they have a decent pool, I would be careful to stay with little ones, because of the safety issues. Staff was good. Not too bad - was OK with the beds, clean enough for me. Some out of date elements - ie: plug properly in its socket, some dust in corners.
