The room was acceptable for the price, the bed was okay and the furniture was sort of nice. I guess you can't really complaina night during this week when all of the other hotels in town weremore for per night. Go figure, some convention for furniture was in town and rates are tripled. The business always gets screwed it seems! Would not stay here again. Perfect area for High Point. Old, dated, run down, stinky, it ain't the Hilton or remotely close. customer rating 4 out of 5 For location during the High Point Furniture market you can't beat this hotel! The hotel is older but they have done a good job overall of updating it. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner. Because of Market the price was way out of line with the quality of the hotel, but that is because of its location and is understandable. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very friendly and customer service oriented. customer rating 2.5 out of 5 I would not stay there again . The pool was totally unusable because it was way too cold. Expected a heated pool, meaning pool water ( temp was in low 50's) .When I asked about this, was told only room was heated not the water.
