Customer Reviews for Sheraton Imperial Hotel Convention Center Durhamcustomer rating 3.5 out of 5 The Sheraton Imperial Hotel Convention Center was convenient for travelers coming from RDU as it was a short drive from the airport and offered free parking. The hotel was clean and had a good restaurant on site. The beds were very comfortable. Prior to check in, we attempted to call the hotel to request a king-sized bed. The Sheraton representative with whom we spoke stated that he could not honor this request in advance and we would have only a 50/50 chance of getting this type of bed at check in. He seemed annoyed that we used a "3rd party" to book the hotel, repeatedly stating that we should have booked directly with the hotel. Convenient, close to airport, and restaurant in hotel. Relatively expensive for what was offered, hotel staff unwilling to honor bed preferences -- seemed annoyed we did not book directly with them. customer rating 3 out of 5 Nice gym next door.
