We had a bit of trouble getting the night desk attendant's attention (the door was locked) - range the bell several times and called the desk twice. Lobby is nice unless you hate the UNC Tar Heels as that is the decor there and on the outside of buildings. Mostly clean room. Furniture was old but updated bed linens spruced up the room. There was coffee in the room and lobby. Price, location, and lobby decor. If I ask for a no smoking room, I insist that it not smell of smoke. Second night was OK. Staff was friendly and the hotel day staff were helpful. The sports bar restaurant at the hotel is reasonable, not fancy. Good location for what we needed.
