We arrived for check in late at night, when we entered our room there was someone already sleeping in the bed. We went back to the front desk and the clerk was extremely accommodating and upgraded us to a suite. They also very kindly gave us a late checkout. So, the staff gets an A+! My only real concern is how someone had access to a room that was assigned to us. After some investigation by the hotel staff, it appears it might have been a wayward employee "using" the room for the evening. It's still not OK that a wayward employee (if that's what really happened)had access to our room, but again...I have to give a thumbs up to the staff for handling an awkward situation in a classy manner! Very accommodating staff. When the heater turned on, it made a very loud clanging sound. customer rating 1 out of 5 The door lock was faulty and took forever to get fixed. I got locked out and I got locked in. I was late for an appointment. I was told that management was going to call me to apologize, but never heard a word. I was told that management. customer rating 2 out of 5 Although staff, and first appearance is really great, the rooms, hallways,and such are very outdated, there are undesirable people that tend to rent in the back of the hotel, no indoor pool. Not what i have become accustomed to with a hotel that is rated 3 stars. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is very old, outdated, some undesirable people in the back, not what you would expect of a 3 star hotel, not even an indoor pool.
