Rooms were roomy and up to date...like new. The hotel was very clean. Room was up to date, clean, great LG TV, bathrooms were clean and new in look. They had two unexpected water shut downs...but they were back up in 1 hour. Elevators were very slow. customer rating 1.5 out of 5 This hotel needs serious updating. The carpets were very old and smelled of mildew. The trim throughout the hotel was chipped and in some cases bubbling with air pockets and/or peeling. I had to be transferred into another room because the washroom faucets were broken. The second room had inadequate linen ... overall this hotel needs better management and updating. Location is great - just south of Central Park. Very old hotel that needs serious updating. Carpets dirty, elevators not working, paint chipping. customer rating 2 out of 5 Our AC wasn't working and no one would come to check it out. Loud noise kept us up all night. Next day wasn't working at all and finally sent someone. AC completely broken. Moved us to another room. NO apology. They didn't seem to care.
