Customer Reviews for Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan/fifth Avenue New Yorkcustomer rating 4.5 out of 5 Located in a fairly quiet area between fifth and sixth Avenues on 37th St., walking distance to Both Grand Central and Times Square, the Fairfield Inn far exceeded expectations in terms of comfort and the friendliness of the staff. While the room was small, it was perfectly adequate to my needs with a very clean bathroom and nice hot shower, free Internet service in the room and, surprisingly, a continental breakfast offered gratis. Great location. Nice, but small room (no problem). I have never encountered friendlier more helpful staff in a hotel. The computers with internet access were a huge bonus especially as they are in a private area, with seating, which made using them much more pleasant. The breakfast did the trick every morning and the hotel was very clean and extremely well kept up. All of the staff were amazing! Super accommodating, willing to help with any and all questions, and the friendliest staff I have even encountered. Room was slightly tinier than others we stayed in, but that's really nitpicky.
