The area around the hotel does not feel very safe. I would not venture out late solo, but you wont have to at the Strat. customer rating 4 out of 5 The room was adequate and clean. The staff was helpful. The buffet was surprisingly good but a little overpriced. The hotel is at the older North end of the strip and there is not much in the vicinity of the Stratosphere that is worthwhile to walk to. The view from the top of the Stratosphere is a must-see and free for hotel guests. The buffet had a good selection. The pool was nice but when I booked the room I booked the more expensive room because it said it had panoramic views of th strip or the valley and the only view I got was a wall. Next time I will just book the regular room and pay the cheaper price and I'm sure I will still have the same view. The shower was dirty, the bed was comfy and the staff at check-in was nice. The housekeepers however never responded to any requests. The pool was nice! The view from outside my room was a wall!
