Customer Reviews for Best Western Ridgeland Inn Clintoncustomer rating 1 out of 5 When I arrived there was no one at the desk. I had to call out for help. I think the owners/managers must live in the hotel and I took them away from domestic duties. (reminded me of the hotels on Planes, Trains, and Automobiles). The hallway smelled like tobacco smoke. The room furniture and television were dated and worn. The carpet was patched, but relative clean. The shower curtain had mold. The wireless Internet was not working, although they did get it working after I complained. The breakfast area was cramped and the breakfast was good if you like cold cereal and whole milk. If this is a 2 star hotel I will never bid on another 2 star. The room was spacious It was overrated as a two star hotel. customer rating 3.5 out of 5 This hotel was OK, but it was way too expensive for what the hotel looks like. It has seen its better days and needs to be updates and have a serious bit of maintenance done. It looks like it used to be very nice some years ago, but it hasn't been maintained and lots of little things have been let go, such as holes in the wall and the air conditioner that sounds like it is about to take flight. The room layout was great! The air conditioner was so loud it kept us awake most of the night. Our first room had holes punched in the walls and wreaked of smoke. customer rating 1 out of 5
This hotel has had its glory years and they appear to be well in the past. The room: dirty, shower: dirty, carpet: make sure you have slippers, room smell: moldy and generally funky, breakfast: non-existent a complete joke...my Raisin Bran had crunch The gentleman who checked us in was a very good representative of the hotel.
