Customer Reviews for Best Western The New Englander Woburncustomer rating 1.5 out of 5 I am not a fussy person by nature, but this hotel was in such poor condition that I was embarrassed to have been the one responsible for booking it for my sister and myself. We were looking for a hotel for one night only that was convenient to Logan airport. Not being familiar with the area I chose the Best Western because I believed it to have a reputation of being at the very least satisfactory. This hotel should be closed until it has been completely renovated. There was plywood around the entry way where there should have been glass, wallpaper was literally falling off the walls, the entry lounge furniture was filthy and dated back to sometime in the 1960's or 1970's. This experience was a huge disappointment particularly after the other hotel we stayed in in Hyannis for a much lower nightly rate. I have recently read William Shatner's book and am surprised that he would associate his name with such an establishment. The only positive was a pleasant, and helpful person at check-in. The physical appearance on the hotel is in a shambles. customer rating 1.5 out of 5 Stayed there several times & generally enjoyed. Nice staff. Toilet malfunctioned. customer rating 2 out of 5 I would not want to return to this hotel. Business center computers didn't work, rooms and lobby need help.
