The decor, furniture, bedding were outdated. The plumbing and ac/heat were loud and did not work properly. The bathroom was not fully clean. The lobby smelled of lysol. Half of the hotel was undergoing renovation. Because the people were so nice, I bet it has a great future. The people were really welcoming and professional. Outdated and in disrepair. customer rating 4.5 out of 5 Overall impression of this hotel was favorable and we'd stay here again. The front desk clerk was very friendly and recommended a delicious lobster restaurant in a nearby town instead of even attempting to talk us into the hotel restaurant. The hotel has a sign that it's under restoration and that is a good thing. Our room was spacious and comfortable with big, clean beds. The shower flower was stained and looked so dirty that we decided shower shoes were a good idea. While I don't expect much from free breakfasts, this one was especially bad. The coffee was nearly undrinkable tasteless. The eggs weren't kept on ice and the pastries were very, very stale. There wasn't even a microwave to warm up the pastries to try to improve them. The breakfast hostess was not a happy person. We were only there briefly one morning so it's hard to know if she was just having a bad day. Very friendly and helpful desk clerk. Big, clean, comfortable beds. Touch room key. Breakfast was really bad coffee and stale pastries without a microwave to soften them. Eggs not on ice.
