As stated in other reviews, Justin is the BEST! customer rating 3 out of 5 If you've ever wanted to stay at a hotel that was once a bank, then this is the place for you. It does have a sense of nostalgia about it, but I really have to caution travelers. First of all, the hotel's photos are deceiving. The building is small, very easy to miss, and adjacent to another building. Half of the rooms have a view of the city. The other half have a view of the shared alley. If you want a view, you need to set it up ahead of time. The hotel only offers valet parking, and it is expensive, $30+ per night. The streetcars are a couple of blocks away, and you can buy a 1 or 3 day pass. I recommend the streetcars as a way to tour the city. NOLA also has taxis, but they can be hard to find on the weekends and when a convention is in town. NOLA also offers great food, which is great because while the hotel description mentions room service and a restaurant onsite, I don't think it was offered. I couldn't get a hold of anyone to place a room service order and what looked like a restaurant was not open the entire time of my stay. In my opinion, this is really a 2.5 to 3 star hotel, which is fine. It's quaint and has a good location. But, for the price, I don't consider this hotel to be a value or to have the correct star rating. For the price, there are plenty of other better hotels in the business district of NOLA. The hotel used to be a bank, so that's exciting. You're only blocks away from the Riverwalk, the streetcars, downtown businesses and the Superdome. Wireless internet was wicked fast. The hotel only offers valet parking. Some of the furniture was broken. The hotel description mentions room service, but I couldn't get anything delivered to my room. And, I don't know if the restaurant downstairs was ever open.
