Customer Reviews for Holiday Inn Chicago North Shore Skokie Skokiecustomer rating 1 out of 5 If you enjoy holes cut in the carpeting, bathroom doors that are hard to close (and harder yet to open) and blaring noises from the atrium and hospitality room, then this is the hotel for you. Front desk staff was uncaring.But nothing. So then we had to make sure we weren't double billed ( which, thank goodness, we weren't ). All in all a rather unpleasant stay. Friendly bartender. Unbelievably noisy and uncaring front desk staff. customer rating 4 out of 5 Hotel staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient. Lobby, restaurant, pool and bar were quite attractive. The show in the room was cramped and had no heater which made taking a shower a cool experience. The footrest for the chair was quite stained and unattractive. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the availability of a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Beautiful lobby and restaurant. Easy parking. Access to room was difficult.
