Great American gurnee mills The group of people that works there No everything was great even the breakfast customer rating 3.5 out of 5 Great for families ,Six Flags is right across the street.The mall is only a mile or two from the hotel The hotel was clean and the staff was nice,the location was good also. Nothing bad to say about the hotel. customer rating 1.5 out of 5 The staff (at least at night) was extremely unpleasant and not friendly at all - almost as if it was an inconvienence for them to have to check us in. When asking for help with the train station times and/or WiFi connection services, they said that they simply didn't know and wouldn't take the time to look it up for us. We accidently went into the Country Inn & Suites next door before going to the Best Western and at the Country Inn, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I would recommend them over the Best Western any day. Along with that, the breakfast had food that was obviously not fresh. We asked to maid to see if she could charge the remote as it didn't work and that wasn't done either - along with no working fridge nor microwave in the rooms. The service definitely needs improving. Go over to the Country Inn & Suites next door instead! The location was excellent - however, there was Country Inn & Suites right next door that had a much friendlier staff (as we accidently went in there first). The night staff was extremely unpleasant and not friendly at all.
