The hotel is an older hotel that has been remodeled. The rooms have a dark interior (walls, carpet, bedding), which does not give me a 4-star impression. Our room was located on the 2nd floor, open to other people walking up to your window and looking inside. We had to keep our shades closed so people can't see our belongings inside our room, making the room even darker. When asking for a higher level room for safety reasons, the reply was, "We don't have any king-bed rooms on other floors." (This is hard to believe). The pool is small and is only opened up to 9 pm. The restaurants are of moderate quality, but I would recommend going outside of the hotel to eat. The valet parking is expensive with no option for self-parking. Hertz is located on site, but does not have many cars for rental. By noon, they had no cars left for renting. Conveniently located next to the bus stop and has beach access.
