Customer Reviews for Holiday Inn Norwich Norwichcustomer rating 0.5 out of 5 Upon arriving we asked for a non-smoking unit which per the front desk there were no rooms available. At that point we had no choice but to accept. I've stayed here before but the room that we received smelled so smoky that I could not wait to leave the next day. From the minute we got off the elevator on the second floor the smell of smoke was so bad. The carpet in the room looked dirty and even the pillows and towels stunk with smoke. Although I understand it is a smoking room I still feel that the quality and even the air was not up to par. On top of that I decided to call the hotel as If I was trying to booked a room as new customer and to my surprise there were non-smoking rooms available just not for me upon checking in. It was unfortunate that as a returning customer I had to deal with this. Nothing this time around. The smell of smoke was awful. customer rating 4.5 out of 5 Proximity to Mohegan Sun. Limited number of shuttle passengers. customer rating 0.5 out of 5 This hotel is adequate at best. It should not be rated at three stars, it is two stars at best. Thermostat broken (fixed by very nice staff), heat lamp in bathroom is a compact florescent bulb (REALLY?) and the water was not really hot Staff was friendly. Dirty, cheap, not feel taken care of.
