There are certain expectations I have grown accustom to with many of the Major hotel chains across the US. In room WiFi, a free newspaper, a parking space for your car, a cup of coffee and danish to start your day. The only complimentary thing here was to tally up all the extra charges and slide the bill under my door. Not just small fees, $14/day parking is the highest rate I have ever seen in San Diego! The girl at the desk said since we "Negotiated a low room rate we should expect to pay more for parking and WiFi. Comfortable beds, and friendly staff. $14/day parking. Pay for WiFi in the 21st century. Not even a complimentary cup of coffee in the morning.
