Cramped room. customer rating 5 out of 5 Shelter island location is peaceful escape in the middle of the city. customer rating 4.5 out of 5 Although the bed springs were noisy, the room was very clean and well managed. The room had plantation shutters which were nice. The property was nicely landscaped with beautiful tropical plants. Across the street was the bay with a pier to fish from. We only spent one night and I would return again. I liked the friendly man at the front desk and that the honeysuckle was in bloom outside my door. The metal springs in the bed were noisy and not super comfortable.
