The front desk clerk was not very friendly, we did arrive early and tried to check-in a 4 hours before the 2 pm check-in time. She stated I would have to pay an additional price for the early check-in, even though I knew we would be there less than 24 hours. I then asked for 2 double beds instead of the 1 king, she then told me my reservation is for 1 king if she changed it it would be a $25.00 charge. So I said no to both. Came back at Noon to see if I could check in now, a new clerk was at the desk not much friendlier. There was a team of wrestlers in the lobby check in as well, their coach was check in them in, at no additional fee so I asked if I could check in, to which she said well I will check you in however normal time is 2 pm, I asked if there was a fee to check in early she said yes, I said never mind, I asked the coach if had paid for an early check in he said no. At which time I went back to the clerk and said you allowed a team of wrestlers who have 5 rooms to check in without a fee, why can't I. She said ok I will do it for you this time. WOW! Then that night at 2:35 am the smoke detector went off with a very loud alarm, after 30 seconds it shut off, went back to sleep only to be woken up again at 5:35 am to the same alarm. I reported this to the front desk clerk, she said ok she would have someone look into it. No apology just thanks for letting us know. It was quite, even with the freeway close. The drain in the tub would not seal so taking a bath you had to refill a few times. no kid channels on TV, said cartoon network but there wa Breakfast was nice. Things where not working in room.
