Positive: Location is good, if you need to stay in Hollywood. Room was spacious and fairly clean. Front desk staff was nice, but with two people at the front desk, you would think that they should both be helping a customer, which did not happen. Negative: Wireless internet connection cut off during a very critical business call/meeting I had, causing the call and online meeting to drop, and required me to re-log in. I also lost all of the data that had been typed during the call. That was very disruptive. Called the front desk and they could not provide any explanation, nor did they provide any type of apology for the inconvenience. There was no manager on site (it was 5 pm) and they told me that the manager would not be back until late the next morning. Getting in and out of the parking lot was very difficult, as the street is always packed with cars and they will not let you into the flow of traffic. This caused a lot of wasted time. Also, driveways only allow one car at a time, and corners have blind spots. Almost hit a car coming around one corner. Bathroom had very minimal counter space, even though there is plenty of room for more counter space. Only one plug in the bathroom, which is also inconvenient when a couple needs to plug in a hair dryer, curling iron and electric shaver. Was given a smoking room, it smelled so strongly of pot smoke and cigarette smoke I asked to be moved, they said that not only did they have no non-smoking rooms. They moved me to another smoking room that also stunk, but not quite as bad. My eyes were burning the whole night. Pool and spa seem to be permanently down for maintenance. Hotel was advertised as free parking, it is $10. Restaurant was ok. Room smelled so strongly of smoke I had a hard time breathing.
