We didn't want luxury accommodations, just something for one night, clean, comfortable, friendly. This we got plus so much more! It was not on the main drag so it was very quiet, plus, maybe 2 blocks away, one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever eaten at! Great food and great atmosphere. The owners and staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. they moved as to a larger room so that we could have 2 chairs to play cards. We got a king size bed, 3 chairs, microwave, fridge, completely updated bathroom. The windows actually opened to let fresh air in while we played cards and outside the window were lemon, orange and other fruit trees. Next door, a large open space with a home and garden. the room smelled good, not stale. It truly was one of the nicest hotel experiences we have ever had including rooms that cost a lot, lot more. Staff very friendly and helpful. Needed 2 chairs, upgraded to larger room. Very clean, new tile, everything. Its next to the freeway on/off ramp, 2 grocery stores and gas stations. The quietness without our kids or hustle of the h.way. This motel is close to the freeway and a gas station and across the street from family. The front office smelt of burnt tanning salon beds and the counter had to have been greased down. It was creepy disgusting! customer rating 5 out of 5 We stay at this hotel even though it is not anywhere near our destination (seaworld) because we know we will get friendly service, a clean room, comfortable mattresses, free parking and WiFi, a working (and quiet) fridge as well as microwave. Very quiet at night, and even though it's next to some kind of adult entertainment, I have never seen any riff-raff hanging' around. Clean rooms and very comfortable mattresses. If I have to nitpick, the parking spaces are small for my diesel excursion.
