Maybe the new rates will double considering the extensive dollars invested in the major upgrade. Location and such a short walk to the greatest beach anywhere for walking. This place has been being remodeled for seemingly 3 years - almost completed. customer rating 4 out of 5 They were renovating the hotel and lots of construction. customer rating 4 out of 5 At the Stratford Inn - much better to upgrade vs the standard room. Lots more space so you'll really free more comfortable. The breakfast is OK - but not elaborate. Really missed not having the Hot tub open - the pool was way too cool for swimming in An old favorite - super location in a dream town - Aspen by the Sea. Hot tub under renovation - pool not heated - noisy renovation - been going on for years.
