Customer Reviews for Holiday Inn Downtown Vancouver Vancouvercustomer rating 2 out of 5 It is undergoing renovation so very dusty and musty in the section we were put in. Parking was convenient and cheaper than most hotels. The beds were comfortable. Our room was old and smelled. Someone opened up our door with a key and quickly closed it when we started shouting. customer rating 3.5 out of 5 Not great. After finding out that a fridge and a microwave would cost an extra $80 (for this amount we decided to just eat out), the for (front of house) lady said they can keep our things in the restaurant fridge. It was nice but too much of a hassle. Our room was not cleaned between our first and second night stay, and the bath was not cleaned at all. During our third night, the people in the room next to us were very loud, and we had to move. Generally, the hotel was full of students.
The bar was great and we really liked Tim. The for people were also very nice, they were patient and printed many pages for us. Great front of the house service, and great bar. Fridge/ Microwave were $20 extra per night, room wasn't cleaned fist night, loud students everywhere. customer rating 4 out of 5 This hotel is centrally located in Yaletown, close to Downtown, shopping, restaurants and bars. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean, but dated. Location was great. Good underground parking. It is old and tired, but undergoing renovations.
