Customer Reviews for Holiday Inn Phoenix-mesa Mesacustomer rating 3.5 out of 5 This Holiday Inn had a friendly staff and nice entry. The beds in our room were small. We wished it had been cleaner in our room and in the pool. The hot tub did not work and we asked about it and were told they did not know when it would be repaired. It looked older and in need of fix-up. We would like to know all of the Priceline taxes and fees before bidding. Good value. Hot tub jets did not work, had to call for room to be cleaned. customer rating 3.5 out of 5
Location was good because it was off the freeway. Most of the restaurants were down a few exits which was OK. When we checked in they said our credit card was declined which alarmed us and we gave them another card which was also declined. Turned out they were having issues with their computer system and our cards were fine. After dinner we returned to the hotel to find a light switch cover laying in the bathroom. Apparently, maintenance had been in our room without us knowing. The shower handle leaked and you couldn't turn it off or adjust the water temperature. The TV quality was poor but the room was clean and had free WiFi. We liked the hotel staff and free WiFi. The shower leaked and TV quality was poor customer rating 4 out of 5 It was a nice place to stay but overpriced: I could see daylight under the door to my room. I hoped no critters were around. The pool area looked nice. Room was clean. Always had hot water. It was adequate. Bed was comfortable. It took 3 calls on 3 different days to get a linen change.
