Although the common areas were not modern, they were clean. The room was clean and seemed to have been recently redecorated. The room was nice, and seemed to have been recently redecorated. The common areas of the hotel were somewhat run down. customer rating 2 out of 5 Hotel is right by the expressway. Lots of trucks to wake you up. Was somewhat quiet. Only one soap in bathroom for hands and shower. Not enough channels on TV. customer rating 0.5 out of 5 This hotel isnot a 3 star hotel, at best it is a 2 star or less. There was lots of mold in our bathroom, it was not clean, so I cleaned the bath and floor before we used it. The carpet was dirty and the room had a very bad smell. We could hear the TV from the room next door, and toilets flushing etc. Two of the lights in the room did not work, one by the desk and one by the bed. The love seat in the room was broken and you could not sit on it. To sum it up, this place was a dump. The staff was friendly and helpful,and the lobby was very attractive. I know now why the only show pictures of the lobby and not guest rooms on their site. The next night we stayed at another Holiday inn in Baton Rouge and paid less for the room, it was new and a great hotel and in a better safer location. Nothing. Bathroom had lots of mold, bad smell in room, noisy could hear TV from next room, carpet dirty, could. Pt wait to leave this hotel.
